To check whether a site is legit/trust usually, I do follow a simple checklist to see how well they do. 1) Use http://www.whoisxy.com/ to check the whois information and check whether the contact information matches with the one in the website. 2) In the domain contact details, is there a valid email address. 3) Is there a valid phone number visible, and does it work ? 4) Go through review about them using http://www.webutation.net and check whether they are scam free using their Web of trust criteria. 5)Does the site have a current SSL certificate?Does the site has a https extension? If I get satsified with the above conditions then I proceed to checkin for a low priced article and based on their safe and prompt delivery I purchase my desired product.
